#NMUSD #CTE pathways integrate core academic knowledge with technical knowledge and skill in a collaborative, hands-on, project-based environment and encompass work-based learning opportunities with industry experts, many of which can lead to certification programs and have led to job hiring directly from high school.

#NMUSD values local partnerships with business and industry. Collaboration is vital in preparing students, and future workforce, with the required skills and knowledge for high-wage careers. Partnerships can take many forms including:

  • Become an advisory committee member, participate on a CTE advisory council to share critical insights and review curriculum!
  • Engage and inspire students by offering work-based learning experiences such as guest speaking, field trips, job shadowing, internships, and pre-apprenticeships
  • Contribute resources
  • Hire students
