Data released by the California State Department of Education shows growth for NMUSD students.

Thanks to a partnership with Trellis, more than 300 volunteers from throughout the community descended on Newport-Mesa schools for Love Our Schools Day on November 2.

From rigorous academic programs to a vibrant extracurricular experience, we equip students with the tools they need to succeed.

Open to all students and their families, the annual College and Career Fair provided 1,200 attendees with opportunities to learn about college and technical programs, financial assistance, military, and other civic-minded post-secondary options.

The district's annual State of the Schools Breakfast, hosted in partnership with the Newport-Mesa Schools Foundation, focused on the incredible people and exceptional programs that create a unifed Newport-Mesa for all students.

To foster a safe and sustainable transportation culture, the district has partnered with community organizations and local law enforcement to provide bicycle safety education to students.

The district's Strategic Arts Plan outlines enhanced and expanded arts instruction in dance, music, visual arts, theater, and media arts for all students.

The Board of Education selected seven high school leaders to serve as Student Board Members during the 2024-25 school year.
