ASB

The ASB / Student Government class focuses on areas of personal values, responsibility, leadership, teamwork, meeting etiquette, and activity planning. ASB members practice leadership skills in order to exemplify integrity and responsibility to other ECHS students. Members work on problem solving techniques, brainstorming, meeting skills, group dynamics, time management, goal setting, value clarification, organizational skills, project planning, delegation and public speaking. ASB members work hard to create fun House Competitions, winter/spring dances, Prom, spirit weeks, and fundraising opportunities for our school.

Application Timeline:

Thursday, August 31th: ASB Applications are due.

Friday, September 1: Interviews starting at 7:30am Sign up for a shift with Miss Peters.

Friday,  September 1- Monday, September 4: You will receive notification if your application has been accepted or rejected.

Tuesday, September 5: All posters and campaign materials must be approved by 12:40 pm in Room 15.

Tuesday, September 5- Friday September 8: Campaigning begins at 7:00pm (as long as materials are approved) ALL campaign materials need to be removed no later than 4:15pm on Friday, September 8 or you will be disqualified from running for ASB.

Monday, September 11: Results will be announced AND Future ASB will have a luncheon with present ASB.
