The 2010 - 2011 school year begins on August 11th.

Please print out the enrollment forms found here.  Fill the forms out completely and return them to the ECHS office before August 9th.

For food services, please complete the application found here. 

For transportation, (aka bus passes) please complete the application found here.

The completed transportation and food services applications are accepted by the district transportation and food services offices at 2985 Bear St. in Costa Mesa.  Please do not return these forms to ECHS.

All ECHS students are required to complete a summer reading assignment.   Please check Ms. Nicholson's locker for your grade specific summer reading assignment. (or click here)

9th grade honors read The Odyssey  by Homer, answer the questions on the study guide and keep a quote journal.

10th grade honors read To Kill a Mockingbird and The Color Purple answer the questions on the study guide and keep a quote journal.

AP 12th grade Literature and Composition read Les Miserables, answer the questions on the study guide and keep a quote journal.

Students entering 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grades, Comp. Lit. 1,2,3, 4 must read 1000 pages and complete book reviews. See How to write a Book Review  in Ms. Nicholson's locker.

All students have a summer reading assignment in all grades due on the day they return to school. Students will be required to complete the summer reading in August if they have not completed it during the summer.

To get to Ms. Nicholson's locker, go to "Our School" and click "Staff/Teachers."  Find and click "Nicholson, Ms."  The locker with specifics for the assignments is on the side.
